  • The key objective was to create an inspiring workspace for clients and employees alike that reflected the company’s growth in the e-commerce sector.
  • The Pixel commissioned our more daring design solution which responded to the changing attitudes within the workplace sector whilst also ensuring it was future proofed for continued business growth.
  • Entrusted to deliver the project from design & manufacturing through to installation and fit out by working collaboratively we provided a seamless service that delivered the project within a tight budget and deadline.

Plumbing Trade Supplies

PTS Hull

Client: Plumbing Trade Supplies

Project Specification:
To transform an existing outdated showroom to a classy modern trade and customer showroom. Aspen was commissioned by Camouflage and Ideal Standard to totally manage this project.

Work Included:

  • Making existing walls and ceilings good for decoration
  • Creating new stud walls for bathroom displays and fitting of Ideal Standard products
  • Supplying and fitting new vinyl non-slip flooring
  • Installation of new electrical sockets
  • Supplying and fitting new wall wash lights and downlights
  • Supplying and installing perimeter and island system shelving for merchandising of PTS and Ideal Standard products
  • Manufacturing, supplying and installing bespoke Trade Point counter
  • Manufacturing, supplying and installing bespoke PTS info corner
  • Manufacturing, supplying and installing bespoke tap display shelves
  • Supplying and installing of all graphics, POS material

Wrightson & Platt

Wrightson & Platt

Project Specification:
To transform an existing clothing boutique into a chic gallery and retail environment. Aspen was contracted on this project by Camouflage, an agency specialising in retail design. Wrightson & Platt commissioned Camouflage to create their flagship retail establishment in the West End of London.

Work Included:

  • Converting design agency concepts into production format.
  • Managing main aspects of project on behalf of Camouflage.
  • Sourcing or manufacturing all bespoke furniture and fittings.
  • Stripping out existing shop including all studwork, ceilings, stud walls and electrics.
  • Completing entire structure and decorating refurbishment.
  • External paintwork and groundswork.
  • Planning consent management.
  • Total project time – 8 weeks

Grahams Plumbing & Builders Merchants


Location: Chester, UK
Client: Grahams Plumbing & Builders Merchants

Project Specification:
To transform an unused area of the existing building into a modern, colourful bathroom showroom with numerous individual room settings illustrating the wide range of Ideal Standard products. Aspen was commissioned by Camouflage and Ideal Standard to totally manage this project.

Work Included:

  • Manufacturing and installation of Aspen bespoke perimeter and island wall system to create individual bathroom settings
  • Complete decoration/wall tiling of show room to design house specification
  • Installation of Ideal Standard products to each bathroom setting – shower enclosures, furniture, WCs and baths
  • Manufacturing and installation of bespoke furniture to consultation area, tap display wall, bathroom planning wall and shower display wall
  • Manufacturing and installation of graphic boards/panels and POS
  • Total project time – 6 weeks

Flight Centre Wimbledon

Location: Wimbledon, UK
Client: Hein Van Zyl - Branding & Fit-Out Manager (Design & Project Management)

Project Specification:
This exciting Flight Centre shop was a double retail store layout with joinery and shop fitting dating back to 1996. The property size and space had potential for redevelopment into a more practical double retail store with improved spatial planning to also include a non-client-facing office for 6 consultants. Flight Centre's new design standards and shop fitting specifications had to be used to update the store.

Aspen Concepts was appointed to execute the refurbishment from a design brief and plans supplied by the Flight Centre fit-out manager. Plans and brand directives provided by Flight Centre allowed for improved spatial planning & operational functions. Aspen Concepts was also responsible for the manufacturing and installation of all new joinery as per Flight Centre brand standards.

Work Included:

  • Stripping out of all existing joinery and flooring
  • Removing external and internal columns on shop front
  • Chasing floor for data and electrical supply to desks
  • Existing shop front repair and respray
  • Building new stud walls and new partition walls to create new office
  • Taping and jointing and filling all walls for new decorating spec
  • New skirting
  • Decorating all walls and soft wood
  • New joinery (consultant desks, brochure shelving and office cupboards)
  • New world map display unit, installation of wallpaper, installing plasma screens
  • Posting build clean and hand-over
